Our furry friend Punxsutawney Phil, the world’s most famous groundhog, saw his shadow today, prolonging the winter cold for most of the country.  I never have figured out whether the groundhog seeing his shadow or not affected the weather in Phoenix, AZ.  I don’t think it does.

Thanks to one of the funniest movies of all time, Bill Murray’s Groundhog Day, (trailer below for your enjoyment) most people know Punxsutawney Phil, or at least a groundhog that looks just like him.  How weird would it be if we found out the groundhog is actually a female?  That kinda changes everything.  Punxsutawney Patty just doesn’t have the same ring.
