DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano continues to have her named dropped as a potential nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court.
As you may recall, I have blogged on this possibility before (here and here) and still believe that it is her only course of action in staying in a profile position in public service since I don’t think she can ever be elected to the Senate from Arizona.

I agree with you that it’s the only way to keep a public profile, but I think the Republic is reporting on it because they just love her so much and will always find a way to talk about her.
Well, it would satisfy the recent calling for a gay American to serve on the bench. But I thought Obama wanted to appoint another woman to the bench?
BHO has to get her out of Homeland Security. If he nominates her she will breeze through confirmation, McCain and Kyl won’t have the guts to oppose it.
