Obama’s Food and Drug Administration is going after General Mills for touting the health benefits of Cheerios, one of the best breakfast cereals in the world.  Apparently, Cheerios boxes tout that the cereal can help reduce cholesterol by 10% in a month.

This claim, according to the FDA, makes Cheerios a drug, and something that the FDA should be regulating.

Give me a break(fast)!

Talk about taking the cheer out of Cheerios.  I am more convinced than ever that there is no end to the things that this administration wants to regulate, control or destroy.  If this doesn’t demonstrate government run amok, nothing does.

Maybe Obama just really likes Honey Bunches of Oats…

I think we are all adult enough to realize that the only way to be truly healthy is to take drugs.

Hey Sean — you wanted to know when I thought your blog posts didn’t match our conversations. Here is an excellent example. Do you really believe Obama had anything to do with this? If you say no, then why do you go out of your way to call it “Obama’s” FDA? I even looked at the original post and Obama is not implicated or tied to the decision being leveled. The is a subtle way of making Obama appear anti-business.
